At CES 2018, Seagate unveiled several new mobile storage solutions, some of which were developed in cooperation with other manufacturers, for special applications: the LaCie DJI Copilot backup solution for drones, the LaCie Rugged Secure Drive for encrypted backup of data, and the Seagate FastSSD - a USB-C-connectable, high-speed flash storage device...
Backup-on-set via LaCie DJI Copilot
The new 
LaCie DJI Copilot Backup-On-Set solution is already the second cooperation (after DJI Fly Drive) between DJI and Seagate. It should enable drone users to save their videos quickly and without a PC and to view and manage them on the spot with the help of the integrated monitor.

LaCie&s Copilot BOSS (Back-up On-Set Solution) app allows you to play videos in full resolution, manage and organize files on your mobile phone or tablet. The built-in Power Bank can charge mobile devices. With a storage capacity of 2000 GB (2TB), the LaCie DJI copilot allows easy storage of up to 65 hours of 4K 30fps video and 20K+ RAW photos. The price of the LaCie DJI copilot is 400 Euro - delivered in spring 2018.
Seagate Fast SSD
The new Seagate Fast SSD is a portable flash drive with a transfer rate of up to 540 MB/s, shock resistance and USB-C connectivity. Users can back up or synchronize their content with Seagate&s new toolkit software. The Seagate Fast SSD is available in capacities of 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB, each of which will cost around 150 euros, 230 euros and 460 euros and will be available from spring.

LaCie Rugged Secure
LaCie Rugged Secure is the first rugged drive to include hardware encryption using Seagate Secure technology and is designed for extreme conditions - it resists freezing temperatures as well as repeated crashes on hard floors. When the Rugged Secure Drive is disconnected from the computer, the drive is automatically locked and the new toolkit software only provides password-protected access to the stored data. The LaCie Rugged Secure price will be 160 Euro for 2 TB - delivered in spring.

Seagte Partnership with Adobe
The expanded partnership between Adobe and Seagate now gives Seagate and LaCie volume buyers free, time-limited access to Adobe CC applications. Two new offerings now available include two months of Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan (approximately ) - with the new cloud-based photo service Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC - for the full range of Seagate Backup Plus and LaCie Porsche Design devices, and one month of Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps plan (worth about ) - with Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustration.
