Edelkrone has introduced the JibONE, a new portable and intelligent mini jib arm system for small cameras, which can be controlled and programmed both manually and via app. Horizontal, vertical and diagonal camera movements by crane can be easily programmed and thus repeated exactly as often as desired. The JibONE is mounted on a tripod and offers 50cm movement in every direction. Camera movements can be programmed via app or can also be entered manually (the JibONE then remembers the performed movements and can repeat them independently). Time lapse recordings can also be easily realized: either by an interpolated movement between two given key positions or by a slowed down programmed camera movement. (Some of the recordings in the demo video are only possible with the additional HeadPLUS Pan and Tilt head) ;) Edelkrones matching motorized Pan and Tilt heads Even more possibilities are offered by the use of a motorized Pan&Tilt head, such as the HeadONE or  HeadPLUS from Edelkrone: not only can the camera be panned and tilted, but (with the HeadPLUS) automatic three-axis object tracking including motorized focusing can also be realized. Practically speaking, the app automatically detects the presence of a Edelkrone head and then extends the control options offered by the camera by the corresponding options. The JibONE itself weighs 5.5kg and has a maximum load capacity of 5kg - but when transporting the camera, the weight of the camera has to be compensated by an appropriate counterweight. When using a 4kg camera (including lens and possibly motorized head) the weight of the JibONE is added to the weight of the camera (four counterweights are included). A single 28.8 Wh Canon LP-E6 battery should provide power for up to 2 hours in continuous operation.
