Lexar&s new Armor Gold and Silver Pro memory cards are the world&s first UHS-II SDXC cards with a stainless steel casing for professional use. This makes them extremely robust and able to withstand 37 times more pressure than standard plastic SD cards. The metal casing also dissipates heat more effectively, preventing overheating. ;) Lexar Armor Gold SDXC memory cards
Both new Armor card series, with capacities of 1TB, 512GB, 256GB, 128GB, and 64GB, are classified according to the Video Speed Class V60 standard, guaranteeing a sustained write speed of at least 60 MB/s. The Gold variant achieves write speeds of up to 205 MB/s and read speeds of up to 280 MB/s. The Silver variant is equally robust but has a lower write speed of only 160 MB/s (for 256 GB/1 TB models). ;) Lexar Armor Gold SDXC memory cards The cards not only survive a drop from 5 meters but are also water-resistant according to the IP68 standard and dustproof according to the IP6X standard. They are also anti-magnetic and anti-static, offering protection against UV and X-ray radiation and operating within a wide temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. For added robustness, the design omits the usually vulnerable plastic ribs and write-protect switch. Lexar has even addressed another common problem: the wear and tear of specifications printed on traditional memory cards.
