Finally, a manufacturer seems to be focusing on dynamic range (instead of resolution) as a unique selling point compared to the competition in the smartphone camera sector. For this alone one should pay the Nokia 9 Pureview with the Nokia fresh on the (high-end) smartphone parquet returns already times strong respect: Chapeau Nokia! With a total of 5 circularly arranged 12 MP cameras with Zeiss optics, Nokia is currently beating the advertising drum and promises an "extraordinary dynamic range in every shot" as its main feature. The 5 megapixel cameras will capture up to 10 times more light than a camera sensor. Nokia uses 3 monochrome and 2 color sensors with a resolution of 12 MP each. Each sensor is assigned a special image component, which is then combined into an image via AI. If Nokia&s KI were to proceed accordingly, it could actually produce images with an unprecedented dynamic range. Nokia has teamed up with Startup Light, who had already introduced a camera that works with 16 lenses with the L16 - see our news here. In addition, the 5 distributed cameras also record a depth mapping of the scene, where the depth of field can be determined later. The photo resolution always remains at 12 MP. Adobe is also a third partner (besides Zeiss and Light), who is responsible for RAW processing via his Lightroom app on the Nokia 9 Pureview. The Nokia 9 Pureview is supposed to record videos with 4K 30p in HDR. To what extent the 5-camera system is also used here does not seem to be quite clear yet. The press text also suggests an interplay here. As CPU a Snapdragon 845 with 6 GM RAM works in the new Nokia Smartphone and thus not quite avant-garde but presumably with price advantages. The (OLED) display of the Nokia 9 Pureview has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The operating system on the Nokia 9 Pureview is Android 9 Pie OS pre-installed which will be updated for 2 years like other Android One smartphones. Android One smartphones install the Android OS without any further adaptations or skins - so "pure" which means on the one hand best possible performance and on the other hand quite uniform. We think Nokia&s decision to focus completely on camera and uncomplicated performance is the right one and are already looking forward to first tests with the Nokia 9 Pureview. The new Nokia phone has potential in any case ... In March 2019 the Nokia Pureview 9 will be available at an RRP of 649,- Euro. more infos at bei www.nokia.com deutsche Version dieser Seite: Nokia 9 Pureview mit 5 (!) 12 MP Zeiss Kameraoptiken für max.
