The new LUMIX GX880 is an updated version of the most compact Panasonic Micro FourThirds camera. As an entry-level model it will be marketed from June and will cost only 449 Euro including the 12-32mm zoom lens.
The video functions were relatively limited, but 4K video with up to 24/25 and 30p is possible as well as FullHD recording with up to 60fps. Since it is explicitly mentioned that in the 4K photo mode with 15 fps a full sensor readout is possible, we assume that with "normal" 4K recording only a 1:1 sensor cutout can be used for the video recording. Since the sensor "only" captures 16 megapixels, the crop should be limited.

In addition, the duration of the 4K recordings was limited to 5 minutes. In FullHD, a maximum of 20 minutes at a time is possible. In short: This camera is only interesting for videographers if the camera is to be particularly small or inconspicuous.
