Pinnacle Studio 24 brings title editor and dynamic video masks

Pinnacle has released the new version 24 of its video editing software Studio, which brings a number of improvements, including better performance via hardware acceleration using Intel's QuickSync, dynamic video masks and face tracking. As always, Pinnacle Studio is available in three versions, with different pricing and features: Studio, Studio Plus and Studio Ultimate.

The new title editor allows keyframe-controlled animation of titles, for example for the opening or closing credits of a video, to add individual movement and special effects to texts.
The Ultimate version now comes with dynamic video masks, i.e. masks that can be adjusted frame by frame via keyframes, for example to remove unwanted elements or make faces unrecognizable, replace backgrounds and clone or replace objects with others. The shape of masks can be adjusted manually and faces can be detected and automatically masked or tracked using a special tool. In addition, masks created by the user can be saved and reloaded.
Pinnacle Studio 24 also brings new ways to control keyframes, such as selecting a group of keyframes to copy and paste, repeating custom transitions, edits and effects with just a few clicks. The new project notes are designed to make it easier to keep track of your work when switching between projects.
There are also new animated overlays, graphics and backgrounds that can be inserted by drag and drop. In addition, files, DVDs and Blu-ray discs with 5.1 surround audio can now be exported.
Some of the new features, such as dynamic video masks and face tracking, are not available in Pinnacle Studio 24 Ultimate - and only Pinnacle Studio 24 Ultimate supports working with 4K and 360-degree video. The features of all versions include color correction, video stabilization, screen recording, keying, multicam editing, stop motion, DVD authoring, motion tracking and more. Pinnacle Studio 24 Ultimate, Pinnacle Studio 24 Plus and Pinnacle Studio 24 are available immediately at prices of 129.95 Euro, 99.95 Euro and 59.95 Euro.
