The last DXO measurements of the Red Epic Dragon sensor caused a big surprise. The renowned DXO website, which is actually tests only still cameras, has measured single RAW frames of the Dragon sensor. The result: the RED Epic Dragon has superior image quality over all other cameras (including digital media formats) placed in the top list and is the first camera that gets more than 100 DXO points. Both in the image dynamics as well as in the color depth it seems RED was able to be a bit better than than all the well-established cams on the market. What does this tell us now?
