Sennheiser has used the NAMM to announce its G3 successor: evolution wireless G4. For filmmakers, the new 100p as well as the 500p Series, which claim to be the new goto sets for documentaries, ENG and mobile journalism, are of particular interest. 
Technical specifications and prices will follow next week. Compared to the G3 series, Sennheiser promises a further improvement in transmission power and reception. With a good 100m range the range remains at the same level as its predecessor.  We will soon know how the 500P differs from the 100P sets - we&re betting on other bundles with regard to the Lavaliers that are part of the set. °VY=/c20iDPKou2s The new Sennheiser evolution wireless G4 will be available from April 2018 onwards.
