SmallHD 703 Bolt - wireless on-camera display with 3000 nits

SmallHD has introduced the new SmallHD 703 Bolt Wireless Daylight Camera Monitor, a practical combination of an even brighter 7" large SmallHD 703 UltraBright Preview Monitor and a Teradek wireless receiver integrated into the monitor. It works with the Teradek Bolt 500,1000 and 3000 series of transmitters and can receive up to 90 meters of video. The setup is convenient for recording with a gimbal, for example.

The703 Bolt Wireless Monitor has a 3,000 nits bright 7" (17.78 cm) IPS display with a FullHD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which covers 70% of the NTSC color space. It has two 3G SDI inputs as well as a 3G SDI and headphone output and LEMO Power In.

SmallHD&s PageBuilderOS supports features such as HDR preview via HDMI and SDISt Out, 2x/4x pixel zoom, waveform display, peaking, a vectorscope, zebra, image capturing, PIP, audio level, (Luma & RGB) histogram, cross conversion (HDMI to SDI, SDI to HDMI) and custom 3D LUTs.

The 703 Bolt is operated by 6 function keys, 5 of which are freely assignable, and a mini joystick. 3D LUTs as well as profiles can be stored and loaded, individual video images saved, image overlays loaded and firmware uploaded via SD card or USB.

By the end of January, the SmallHD 703 Bolt Wireless Monitor will be available at an early Adopter price of 3,499 dollars - close to 31.1 the PReis will be 3,999 dollars. SmallHD also offers a so called

703 Bolt GM Directors Bundle for ,699 (4,199 dollars), which consists of the monitor and a handle as well as a Gold Mount Battery Plate.
