Despite the 4K label, the SmallHD ULTRA 7 UHD 4K on-camera touchscreen monitor has a touchscreen LCD with a resolution of "only" 1920 x 1080. However, the HDMI and 6G SDI inputs/outputs also support 4K resolutions.
With a specified brightness of 2,300 cd/m², the device should be almost fully suitable for use in bright sunlight.
The integrated PageOS 5 offers numerous professional assistance functions such as Waveform, False Color or Zone Exposure Assist. Teradek RT overlays should also be possible.

At around 3,000 US dollars more expensive than some large sensor cameras, SmallHD's new 7-inch preview monitor is obviously only aimed at the manufacturing upper class.
This is also indicated by the optional RED camera control via the 5-pin USB port and ARRI/Sony VENICE camera control via the Ethernet port.
