With the launch of the Panasonic S1RII – see also
In our practical test of the S1RII, we already pointed out that the SmallRig Black Mamba Cage for the S5II/S5IIX is slightly too small for the new S1RII. It&s only a few, but crucial millimeters that the Mamba Cage is too small by. The new SmallRig cages for the S1RII now seem to have sufficient space, so that in addition to the S1RII, the S5II, S5IIX and G9II also fit. Overall, SmallRig offers three cage packages for the S1RII: The S1RII Cage Kit, the large cage for camera and battery grip, and the S1RII Cage solo (without top handle and HDMI clamp). The S1RII Cage offers NATO rails on top and on the left side of the camera, two cold shoe mounts, and various ¼ and 3/8 inch threads – some with integrated Arri Lock pins. The camera is secured with three contact points. The base plate offers an Arca-Swiss mount, so that the camera can be operated on DJI gimbals without an additional base plate. Pricing and Availability The cage kit and the solo cage appear to be available immediately. The S1R II cage for the battery handle is currently listed as being available from March 10th. Cage Kit for Panasonic Lumix S1R II = 147.90 Euro Cage (solo) for Panasonic Lumix S1RII = 79.90 Euro Cage (solo) for Panasonic S1RII + battery grip = 124.90 Euro ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: SmallRig Cage Kit für Panasonic S1RII vorgestellt |
