SmallRig introduces a new camera cage specifically designed for the Sony Alpha 1 II and Alpha 9 III. This robust cage offers camera protection while expanding shooting possibilities for filmmakers and photographers. Equipped with SmallRig&s patented HawkLock NATO rail and an Arca-Swiss plate, it allows for easy connection with a variety of accessories. ;)
The three-point anti-twist locking design secures the camera using two 1/4"-20 screws on the bottom and right side, and an M4 positioning pin on the bottom, eliminating the need to remove the D-rings. Integrated padding provides all-around protection and prevents scratches. ;) The SmallRig cage features numerous mounting interfaces, including 1/4"-20 threaded and positioning holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, and a HawkLock NATO rail for attaching top or side handles. It also features a cold shoe mount for attaching devices like the DJI MIC II and LED video lights, and a bottom 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting on tabletop tripods or DJI RS Mini quick release plates for gimbal use. The Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows for quick switching between handheld, tripod, or gimbal shooting. ;) Furthermore, the cage features a QD socket for attaching shoulder straps, as well as strap slots on both sides and the bottom for attaching wrist straps, shoulder straps, and other accessories. A magnetic key is also attached to the bottom for easy disassembly and assembly.
