A new set of ergonomic control handles, allowing for more comfortable operation and expansion with additional accessories for DJI's Ronin single-hand gimbals, is released by SmallRig. The centerpiece is a control handle with follow-focus support, offered in various versions; newly also as a sling handle or in a dual setup.
The control handle is compatible with the DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro and is intended to enable precise and seamless focus adjustment via its steplessly adjustable control wheel - the default function is by-wire focus/zoom control, but it can be reassigned via the gimbal software.

A number of other functions are also supported, including shutter control, recording, joystick operation, mode switching, centering/locking, and power/sleep mode. Via the wireless remote control function (up to 100m), the individually sold control handle can also be used in special recording scenarios, such as with car rigs, cable cam systems, camera sliders, etc.

In the setup with two handles for gimbal control, various mounts for an external power supply and other accessories are available.
