The new rig mounting accessory called "SmallRig x LensVid Mini L-Shaped Mount Plate Kit" is probably one of the smallest rig mounting options available in the SmallRig portfolio. Originally developed by LensVid.com, the new Mini L-Shaped Mount Plate Kit is a minimalist mounting option for various accessories on the camera rig. ;)
SmallRig mentions the mounting of wireless video transmission units, V-mount battery plates and monitors as application scenarios. In addition to right-angled screw mounting, the Mini L-Shaped Mount Plate Kit also comes with retractable fixing pins (Arri-Lockpins), built-in 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws and an adapter from 1/4"-16 to 3/8" stainless steel thread. SmallRig specifies the weight of the new mini mounting plate as 32 g with a load capacity of 1.2 kg. ;) The price for the SmallRig x LensVid Mini L-Shaped Mount Plate is 32 euros in the German SmallRig Shop.
