Sony's new "Crystal LED" video wall targets a very small and exclusive customer base due to its price of .7 million. Or in Sony's words "Luxurious environments demand the ultimate display solution. Crystal LED provides an even greater wow factor in homes, home theaters and super yachts.".
The Sony Crystal Micro-LED Video Wall in its Natural Environment
The video wall based on MicroLED technology consists of individual modules with 320x360 pixels each which can be assembled to video walls with resolutions up to 16K. Depending on the desired resolution, size and financial framework, a large display can then be assembled from the modules. A single module costs about 10,000 dollars. A 16K video wall thus consists of 576 modules with a screen diagonal of 20 meters and would therefore cost 5.76 million dollars - a FullHD model consisting of 18 modules and a diagonal of 2.8 meters, on the other hand, would be cheap at 180,000 dollars.
Each individual pixel is represented by a MicroLED, which provides a very good color reproduction, a high brightness of up to 1,000 nits and lowest black values. The display covers 140% of the sRGB color space and has an almost 180° viewing angle. Sony had installed such a 19.2x5.4m display with a resolution of 16K in 32:9 format at 
already in April in the new research center of the cosmetics company Shiseido in Yokohama.
