Sony has introduced the FE 135mm F1.8 GM, a new full frame fixed focal length lens for its professional G-Master lens lineup. Together with the 135 mm F1.8, the Sony G-Master portfolio now has a total of 9 lenses (135 mm f1.8, 24 mm f1.4, 400 mm f2.8, 16-35 mm f2.8, 100-40 0mm f4.5-5.6, 100 mm f2.8, 8 5mm 1.4, 24-70 mm f2.8 and 70-200 mm f2.8). ;) Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM
The Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM has a dual XD linear motor on the front and rear, which Sony promises a particularly fast and precise focusing. Bokeh and depth of field are particularly important for a classic portrait focal length such as 135mm. Sony therefore relies on a circular aperture consisting of 11 lamellas and XA glass, which is particularly effective in correcting deviations. ;) Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM - linear manual focusing Video users can enjoy the FE 135mm F1.8 GM with an optional descreened aperture and a linear manual focus (by wire). The minimum focusing distance is 0.7m. The filter diameter is 82mm. ;) Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM - declickable aperture The housing of the Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM is - like professional camera housings - made of a magnesium alloy and therefore has a comparatively low weight of 950g.
