Users of the Sony FX3 and FX30 are today receiving the announced firmware update to version 6.00 and 5.00 respectively, and with it some new options for camera operation. Among other things, the exposure time can now also be regulated by shutter angle (as with the FX6) and the image quality should be improved when using 3D LUTs. Clips can also be marked during or after filming for quick pre-sorting. The camera will also be livestreaming-capable with v6.00 (in combination with the Creators& App, version 2.5.0 or higher). ;) All new features of the updates:
- Allows you to select the exposure time (shutter speed or shutter angle) when recording movies - Allows you to add OK/NG/KEEP markers to clips during or after movie recording - Improves image quality when using 3D LUT software - Adds 709tone color mode to picture profile / Set one of the picture profiles (PP1-PP11) to 709tone color mode - Enables notifications to be displayed when the latest software is available for the camera - You can now continue recording while transferring captured photos and videos to a smartphone or tablet (Creators& App version 2.5.0 or higher required) - The transfer to smartphones and tablets can now continue even if it is interrupted during a transfer (Creators& App version 2.5.0 or higher required). - You can now transfer only the files that have not yet been transferred to your smartphone or tablet, or add videos to be transferred during the transfer process (Creators& App version 2.5.0 or higher required) - Adds support for the network streaming function - settings must be adjusted in advance in the Creators& App; version 2.5.0 or higher of the Creators& App is required / input in M2 Live via SRT is possible.
