The music AI Suno.ai has launched the next level and now offers the possibility in its iOS app to automatically generate songs that match an image or video specified by the user. Using object recognition, the AI analyzes what is visible in the scene, what mood is present in the image, and then generates matching song lyrics and music. This new feature is called Suno Scenes and can be found in the app&s menu under "Camera Mode" in the Song Creation Experience. The input can be any short video or image – Suno also recognizes text (for example, on screenshots of a conversation via app) and references the content in the generated song. The song can be a rap, a J-pop track, or an easy jazz songwriter piece. Suno Scenes Unfortunately, Suno Scenes is only available in the USA at launch – international access is expected to be available soon. Here some examples are songs generated by Suno Scenes. To our knowledge, Suno is the first AI service to offer an image/video-to-song feature; so far, only Pika generates sound effects matching videos. However, Meta’s recently announced video AI Movie Gen will also generate matching sound for videos plus optional text prompts in the future, such as ambient sounds, sound effects (Foley), and instrumental background music, though without vocal accompaniment.
