Teradek introduced a new version of its wireless three-axis lens controller at NAB 2019. The Teradek RT.CTRL.3 offers full control of focus, aperture and zoom, a fluid focus knob, an OLED display with limit buttons and up to 5,000 ft. (about 1,500 m) radio range. Teradek CTRL.3 New is also the MDR.X, a very light (140g), 3-channel receiver for lens control, which supports the remote control of focus/aperture and zoom. Integrated is a RED camera control, Bluetooth for remote control via RT iOS App as well as an OLED display, which shows information about engine, battery status and more. MDR.X will be available from May 2019 at a price of around 1,700 Euro. Teradek MDR.X The new RT App for iOS with which Focus Puller can remote control their Teradek RT products via Bluetooth will also be available soon. Lenses can be assigned, FIZ settings can be configured, the camera can be controlled and the firmware can be updated. The RT App is released with CTRL.3 and MDR.X. A complete Teradek RT 3-axis lens controller set for focus, iris and zoom control consists of a Teradek RT CTRL.3 lens controller, a Teradek RT MDR.X 3-axis radio receiver and three Teradek RT MOTR.X lens motors.
