From now on, one of the currently best generative video AIs worldwide, "Kling," is available for free. ;)
Unlike the latter, Kling was also publicly accessible, but unfortunately, registration required a Chinese phone number or the (only available in Chinese) KwaiCut app. This has now changed: a regular email address is sufficient for registration. And fortunately, the international version 1.0 of Kling can also be used for free: 66 credits are available per day for generating videos - enough for about 6 clips. Additional credits can be purchased. In addition to generating 5 long videos per text prompt in various formats, other features such as image-to-video and the ability to (roughly) determine the camera movement are available - an editing function is also expected to be added soon. Not yet unlocked internationally but available in the Chinese version are the video extension functions (i.e., extending an existing video), end-frames, 10-second videos, and an HQ mode. Unfortunately, it seems that the demand for Kling is currently so high that generation takes several hours, but it is expected that Kwai will provide more resources. How good is Kling?Kling is, alongside OpenAI&s Sora and  Luma AI&s Dream Machine and Runway&s Gen 3 model, one of the best current video AIs.
