Most of you will be familiar with the Rode TX-M2 condenser microphone with supercardioid from the RØDELink Performer Kit. Rode now offers the microphone in the license-free 2.4 GHz spectrum as a stand-alone version. If you already have an RX-DESK or RX-CAM receiver, you can now integrate the TX-M2 here. Especially the RX-Cam receiver with mini jack output is quite common as an inexpensive entry solution into wireless audio solutions. It&s nice to see that Rode offers further options when it comes to miking. Rode indicates a range of over 100m for the TX-M2. With the LB-1 lithium-ion battery the TX-M2 should last over 10h - alternatively 2 AA batteries can be used.
