The R4 MultiTrak is the world&s first portable compact studio to support 32-bit float audio technology, according to Zoom. The R4 is based on Zoom&s signature handheld design. As a particularly mobile device, it can be used to realize multitrack recordings, which for the first time - thanks to the 32-bit float recording format - are possible without exact manual leveling.
;) The Zoom R4 Multitrack is the first FP32 4 channel studio for your pocket. With four tracks (plus an additional bounce track for merging tracks), two XLR/TS combo inputs, a built-in microphone, a rhythm section with over 80 drum patterns, and a variety of track and input effects including amp simulations, the R4 is obviously highly interesting as a preproduction tool for musicians. But the R4 should also be well suited as a mobile audio recorder for multitrack recordings (for documentary use, for example). So with the R4, four tracks can be recorded at the same time. If you need more, you can mix the tracks into a bounce track. This frees up more tracks to add additional layers. The last "bounce" in each case can still be undone. For post-production, each recorded track also remains untouched for export, regardless of how many bounces you have made. ;) The Zoom R4 Multitrack is the first FP32 4-channel studio for your pocket. Each track has a 3-band EQ, pan, echo and reverb. In addition, there are input effects such as an amp simulation, delays or distortion.
