Frage von doktor73:Hello!
Have now just a few short videos with my digital camera (Panasonic FZ50) and made my hard drive at dubbed.
These appear here in *. mov format, which I installed with the QuickTime player can play.
Gladly, I would like the short films to burn a CD to make them in the living room on the DVD player to be able to. This can be with the. Mov files but nothing seems to begin.
It is for the player to the Philips model DVP5160, the following compression formats to: MPEG1, MPEG2, DivX 3.11, DivX 4.x, DivX 5.x, DivX 6.0, DivX Ultra.
In what format should I use the. Mov videos now s.besten convert, so that the DVD player they can arrange work and the picture quality as good? Perhaps in the. Avi format? Or. Mpeg?
As I said, very important to me would be a good picture ...

Michael

Edit: I can see straight, you write, you want to burn to CD. My test DVD you? That would in any case the better alternative.

Hello!
How do I create because s.einfachsten?
Should the PC be my father, since I only have a CD burner was mounted ...
Between DVD Video and V (ideo)-CD any difference except for the higher storage capacity of DVD?
Otherwise, I could so it with VCD trying times with my CD burner ...
Is it something with the "normal" burning programs generate?
If it is then called to the DivX format?
Sorry, I'm beginning ... :-)

How do I create because s.einfachsten? Hm, with mov format you're a little on the exotic Page .... Magix Video Deluxe can do for example. Maybe someone here knows whether it is synonymous a freeware solution?
Between DVD Video and V (ideo)-CD any difference except for the higher storage capacity of DVD? Yes, the DVD quality is a good bit better. Players also have some problems with it, VCD and SVCD playback properly.
Is it something with the "normal" burning programs generate? Yes, you can.
If it is then called to the DivX format? No, a "normal" video DVD contains VOB files, which is a special form of MPEG2.

I often use the Total Video Converter for conversions.
Whether the Quicktime Motion JPEG compression of Panasonic digicams of the different converters can be adopted must be tested.
Sometimes it takes as synonymous with the converter, not only supported files, but to all the files to go. Watch out for the conversion but the Sound and the Picture check.
DivX would be prudent, especially with large files, since it at a much smaller file of an equivalent quality. From then only downside is that perhaps another friend with his DVD player you can not watch film because he is not a DivX or your Divx version can not read, it is already DVD compliant MPEG wise.
The CD is synonymous 2 Advantages, it is much more durable than a DVD, and can burn much faster, especially for large files can be of advantage. With the DVD to fit more on it.

Hi Michael,
if you want a CD DivX would be a good choice. My player can not play so I have no experience. DivX is a codec installed on your calculator and you can download the files your camera to the PC with the Media Player it looks good. With the program you can then VirtualDub your *. mov file open and save as DivX. If you receive the file with VirtualDub can not open AVISynth would be possible. Because it's complicated.
I do not know if your DVD player synonymous certain needs such as video features Height and Width. In this case you need to size the video in VirtualDub adapt.

Hello!
Thanks for the help!
DivX is a codec installed on your calculator and you can download the files your camera to the PC with the Media Player it looks good. With the program you can then VirtualDub your *. mov file open and save as DivX. So, with my "Windows Media Player" Although I hear the video sound, but unfortunately only see a "visualization" ...
I can easily play the *. mov files with the "QuickTime Player", and synonymous with the "Real Player" is how it works.
Not does it work with my installed DivX Player 6.0 "- then the message that" the file probably does not contain video track "...
Oh yes, if I file with the players belonging to the "DivX Converter" to convert attempt, the message that this file "invalid video track includes" ... Seems s.MJPEG format of Panasonic to lie ...
Hope that there is still a possibility, for example, the files in MPEG-2 and convert it into a normal video DVD "to create ...

Hi Michael,
if you are with the "Total Video Converter" Jan suggests not the next coming, I would try the following:
1. Quicktime 7 installed (if not already done).
2nd
AVISynthhere 3rd
QTSource 4. AVISynth script writing. (see Annex AVISynth and documentary) The ending. txt please remove the script and adjust the file name. I assumed that your videos in the format 640x480 pixels are available and your goal Pal DVDs with 720x576 pixels.
5. The AviSynth script with VirtualDub open.
When you scroll with the slider and by clicking on the button> You should watch the video now can.
If you're come so far as the next step.
AVISynth is quite well described in German and worth some experiments.
