Frage von JMS Productions:Hello Forum,
Before almost exactly one years I have in store for Panasonic NV-GS230 EC purchased. The Cam is synonymous in my opinion, really good pictures. The only criterion that I only noticed much later, after I had bought it already, is that they no DV-IN and I have this function but very urgent need for archiving. Now, I have been through all the pages gegooglet, I then pushed www.dv-in.de and had hoped that my model could somehow "unlock", but apparently it seems that the are not to be possible in this model. The manual says that only the NV-GS230
EK on DV - In available. According to this model, I gegooglet and found that this model mainly in Switzerland, in Germany, Austria, etc (ie EU countries) do not apply.
The following is me in the sense that:
I sell my current NV-GS230 EC (only one year in use, not too much used) and buy me the selling price of the NV-GS230 EK at a Swiss dealer. Except for the DV - In aspect of both models are completely identical.
Now I am not quite sure whether my project so "easy" to achieve. How does the whole thing with inches and so from next and for whatever reason, the NV-GS230 EK only sold in Switzerland and nowhere else? Sounds almost as if DV - banned in this country ....
Would appreciate advice on:)

... for whatever reason, the NV-GS230 EK only sold in Switzerland ...?! Sounds almost as if DV - banned in this country ... Prohibitions, he is not straight, but as soon as a DV camcorder via synonymous can absorb (rather than play), he will of the EU customs technically treated differently - or more precisely, with an increase about ten percent higher duty rate. The additional need of Manufacturer redirected to the purchase price, which in "greed-is-cool" times the sales opportunities would decrease. Switzerland is synonymous or the United States know this distinction is not, so it unnecessary for these markets is a "neutered" version of the Camera to offer.

Thanks, Bernd, for your explanation.
So that means that my approach would be this easy? I order the DV - In your camcorder to a Swiss website and leave it to me to send home to Germany? Since there are no extra fees in inches, etc? And how does the whole thing, if I claim technical support? Do I have the device always s.eine service bureau in Switzerland, send, or take care of synonymous Panasonic departments here in Germany about?

Since there are no extra fees in inches, etc? But, of course you have to pay Inch.

The few selected randomly by Google Swiss dealer, which I just viewed that had in any case would have no problem: Some even explicitly declare the cost for a shipment to Germany.
Since there are no extra fees in inches, etc?
But, of course you have to pay Inch. And not only that: while the Swiss VAT will be deducted from the purchase price, the German thing - and that is very much higher. Exact figures you get the next customs office, but on the thumb gepeilt should make it a total of approximately 25% premium over Switzerland in the advertised price to.
... how does the whole thing, if I claim technical support? ... Panasonic synonymous care services here in Germany about ... In the broadcast field, at least officially Panasonic disclaims any warranty for gray, but whether the consumer devices is different, I can not say. I would be surprised, but honestly.

In Switzerland, I would be very cautious. I've camcorder years ago for 99 ¬ at Ebay auction from Switzerland. Ultimately, I paid about 180 ¬. Even the transfer to Switzerland cost nearly ¬ 30 bank charges. The rest were very high shipping costs and inches.
Antwort von Markus73:
[versandfertig after Germany]
Why should they not do? Ok, you probably right. I did some time ago (for the same reason) synonymous with the idea of playing me a camcorder from Switzerland to order. All the shops sold cheap, then I've researched, accepted only Swiss addresses. Apparently, I have not sufficiently sought generally seems not to be a problem ...

Hmm, so if I have to keep reading posts here, it seems to be a huge problem to be here in a DV - In-capable camcorder to get ... Is there anywhere in this country any places where DV - In-capable camcorder could get? I mean, where have all the users because here in the forum DV - In camcorders come from?

Antwort von Bernd E.:
... where did the people here all the users in their forum DV - camcorder In her ... Since there are only two possibilities here: either they are directly a camcorder with DV - bought in (which are in fact less and less) or they have a camcorder built before 2002, where a lack of relatively simple input could be retrofitted.
