1) Capture your DV Avis thus always synonymous (no preference whether or Win Magix VDL-DV)
2) Get DVdate (http://paul.glagla.free.fr/dvdate_en.htm), then read the Help Pages!
3) Change the code so that Time (seconds), either manually or via batch script> files have the correct time code, no loss of quality.
4) if necessary, cut your files. Hard as it cut losses in Virtualdub by you in the video - and audio menu are "direct stream copy" select, cut and save under a different name (see synonymous, where appropriate, point 5).
If further processing is necessary to halt use of the VDL with SmartRender option that works very well for DV Avi unchanged in real fields, then save as DV-AVI from.
