Hello,
I have read a lot about Dateigroessenbegrenzungen of avi s.
The operating system plays a role.
Again, this forum has given me good tips.
But:
What should I actually do, to get into a 1h minidv to avi file?
How do I get s.The format, there's Capture Programs, which provide auto?
I use Picture Package with firewire (was with my Sony camera with me) to "capturing".
I hereby gerademal create about 10 min to capture! So the entire tape is separated into 6 individual opinions. In addition, I must always confirm with ok,
order to capture next.
The goal is simply the entire tape without much effort to blunt back up to dvd.

Limitation of avi file size is new to me .... have a long time about 1 hour in an AVI file captured!
Rather believe that the program only supports capturing 10min and possibly a Expte version or similar more.
For capturing not much need:
You have everything + a program! ;)
Dafür gibts Programs such as sand s.Meer.
For example, is a free Windows Movie Maker. Quality .... naja ....

Caution, the Movie Maker 2 comes together with the Service Pack 2 and what that means in WinXP, you can find here everywhere. ;-)

If you have your FAT32 formatted hard disks and perhaps synonymous still have an older operating system, then you may have a file size limitation of 2 GB. Would suit: 1h AVI is about 13 GB. 6 snippets ... would be for any (very roughly!) 2GB.
How big are the snippets of your video after capturing?
With some programs you can choose to have s.einer certain size, a new file will be started. Faith Scenalyzer did something like synonymous ...

SP2: currently had no problem with that! You must only configure the right place! There is no SP2 Movie Maker.Ich did like this one! :)
When I'm in India, was cut on laptop with SP2 and Movie Maker 2.0, not necessarily because I wanted to take an expensive laptop. For secure and web tuts for the final! (My opinion!)

With Movie Maker can capture and edit DV-AVI synonymous. The quality is therefore no restriction. Only the functionality of this software is very tight. ;-)
