Frage von deepsky:Hello s.alle.
I have the
Panasonic NV-GS 75 and had saved 50 minutes movie on my PC. This can seem to save them in. Avi format. (?)
Now this film is indeed of the quality pretty good - but synonymous 10 GB large. Now I tried with several programs, the film in a handy format to get (. Mpeg, mvcd, svcd, vcd) of max. 1 GB size - but then the quality is so bad that it hurts the eyes. Who can help me here? How do I get this movie to a handy format and in a good quality?

Hello,
The question is always ... see
AVI video of 13 GB on ...?! The workflow always looks like this: capturing as DV-AVI, post-process images, export as DV-AVI (up to here with practically no loss),
only s.end compress into the required format, always start from the DV-AVI for best quality . achieve
BTW: How would an exotic MVCD I do not like the produce. Dear common format such as DVD-Video take.

Hi Markus
Thanks for the link. However, I have tried many and, unfortunately, synonymous konte use a different program to capture - in addition to the Panasonic program. So I get a. Avi - when I can I do that anyway in postprocess. Avi - but I want to be the finished version on a normal CD burn (not DVD) and thus remains on my little memory - must therefore be one way or svcd (may be synonymous like 2 CD's). How can I do? Can you help me there?
PS: I am using the Ulead Video Editing

Now this film is indeed of the quality pretty good - but synonymous 10 GB large. [...] How do I get this movie to a handy format and in a good quality? I've just read through the initial question again, not to lose the actual requirement of the question of the (Un) sense of the USB you capture the eye. ;-)
So you have no DVD burners, which excludes the creation of a standard-compliant DVD-Video and therefore a good quality with adequate size. You want to forty-five minutes instead of compressing video so far that the file size does not exceed 1 GB.
I say it this way: It will cost a lot of quality (resolution, frame rate and / or be Kompressinsartefakte) and later a problem if you then but once a DVD Burners should have (as I believe) and then again the movie in good quality would like to have.
Not infrequently, namely, there exist no original films (DV-AVI) more, because the space was not enough and it will try anything to convert a DivX to MPEG2 (for DVD-Video is required), with further losses in quality and usually synonymous with the severe problems Picture-/Tonsynchronität occur.
My suggestion: Compress the film so that you then further process it in high quality or even if you can re-converted back into DV-AVI. The optimum would be safe here MPEG2, which you later without any further conversion could be used to create a DVD-Video. At a data rate of 7 Mbit / s for the Picture and WAV audio (48 kHz, stereo), this file is 2.8 GB in size.
Should be on your hard drive is no place for this file in the medium term, then you could help them with a backup or CD-burning program to distribute more blanks and then archived.
Would that be a possible solution?
