Frage von dadns:Hello, synonymous here immediately when I hear that the issue has at least thousands of times has been treated. Here my question:
I would like to make a DVD. This DVD should please in America and in Germany on the DVD player on your PC and playable.
Now comes the question. How does the fact that the DVD on the American and German equipment can be seen. Have tod phoned me today and tell all the people something else.
Some believe that it is no longer important, because in PAL and NTSC VHS tape is important.
The other one is no, then you have two different DVD "types" can be pressed.
The next saying that DVD player from Ameriak ONLY! Ntsc play and most European play synonymous.
The median market sellers says that only the expensive equipment to play NTSC. The nöch says that only the cheap devices play NTSC.
The next says, it is absolutely no preference in what format, because it s.dem Television and is not s.dvd player.
I rotate slowly. The next says that it is the country code and if the tribunal to "0" is set, then you can play the DVD anywhere. Since I use the DVD around 1000 x press leave, it would halt even better, to know exactly how it should be. Because the coal weghausen would not be cool.
So here's my question: In what format should the thing to end so that it is all over the world is playable ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
HELP
Thank you for answers and sorry again, because the issue has certainly been dealt a thousand times and I've read about it ..

So here's my question: In what format should the thing to end so that it is all over the world is playable ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Times around a little extra confusion reinzubringen: It depends on whether the people your DVD on a computer or on a DVD player via the television play. On the computer, the TV standards are not existent. A better quality can be reached but usually at the television, and exactly where there are now two times the different standards and it would now be no more than to clarify whether it is possible to film in a PAL and an NTSC version on the same disc pressed so you save costs. That I just do not know, but that the factory should know. And the standard question is yes then already in the selection menu, so this is quite simple is not.

Antwort von Eva Maier:
PAL and NTSC on one disc would only be possible if the disc you just knew where Drin lies, and therefore could start. Apart from that you would need an authoring program that makes both standards at the same time.

ok, I give you a little extra!

I thought that somehow s.ein simple menu in black and white, where just the two films and then select either the PAL or NTSC File starts. So anything where the content of the menus on any Television fairly evident. But I admit, so no practical experience, because my last standard conversion several years ago.

In Wikipedia under "regional code" you can read why these regional codes exist, it is clear that there is "not wanted" DVDs that run everywhere.

Antwort von tijuana:
PAL and NTSC video in a DVD TS file will not do. Wenns necessarily
a disc with both should be only one sided, where on a Page and the PAL on the other the NTSC version.
The player in the NTSC world, can in principle not play PAL. And even if it could be you need synonymous nor a television, the PAL can play. And that may NTSC Television halt not synonymous.
Most DVD players in the PAL-NTSC synonymous world can play. But not everyone, especially the equipment is not something äteren. Most newer television sets can also play NTSC synonymous.
So, I would be with the right DVD authoring program (eg Ulead PowerTools) complete author and then again as a PAL-NTSC and once as a variant output. It possible, the default values of the respective program (except the data evt) does not change. Then the flip.
Antwort von tijuana:
Region code is not a problem synonymous. If nothing else to adjust the current auto authoring programs there 0.

Double Sided - good idea, I had already forgotten.
Stamping but should (perhaps) can.
As far as I know, but the two halves only later after punching glued together.

/ E The make then perhaps in some prison. Previously bags bonding, DVDs today :-)
Double-sided DVDs are actually in my opinion not a good idea. Firstly, to get any NTSC receiver synonymous one (useless) PAL. And it has just about the hole in the middle around the place for text.
Antwort von Eva Maier:
That's right, I always synonymous so annoyed if I had a DVD (think Star Wars Troopers), but in the "good" old days there was the usual because it was not a DVD9.
Yet wars is a good idea when on closer examination revealed some shortcomings.
From price since you can then ding asuch 2 DVDs in Doubleversion can make.
