I try to export an HDV Project grad than 16:9 - DV-Avi.
So far, so nice to set things right, and imported into Premiere, which is synonymous recognized the correct pixel aspect ratio.
ONLY attempt that with any player, no preference whether Wondows Media, Quicktime or Real play leads to a shortened, compressed at 4:3 Picture ...
Since 16:9 is simply ignored ... Can these players do not deal with different pixel aspect ratios, or because the export is running what is wrong?

Theoretically, the current Windows Media Player video type is synonymous with deal-square pixels. Theoretically! My media player is everything with square pixels and pulls me by the picture, just what I hire no preference in the menu.
When I play video files for viewing s.Computermonitor export, then I deinterlace the images and give out a picture format with the correct aspect ratio is square pixels.

Since 16:9 is simply ignored ... AVI knows no distinction between 4:3 and 16:9 (that is synonymous for DivX-compatible DVD players like joy at times ...)

Well, actually I do not like to spend wmfs - but when fabricated with the MS encoder files, even the media player will reliably detect the aspect ratio - and you can just synonymous ne 1440x1080 version as a wmf.
Even out ne MPG file from Premiere - shows the stupid media player to upset - because only read the software DVD player, the correct aspect ratio ...
And if I play 576Auflösung and 50p in HDV Cineform codec, then all players erkenen the aspect ratio, but again not as a DV ...
As far as the conversion to square pixels: I stop we went straight to an avi DV codec - there can halt rumschrauben nix s.der Resolutionund like.
I know myself so help s.andere fänd only for passing, I ne other reliable solution than wmfs somehow nice ;-)

Other players get nothing - that is supposed to just run external problems - I can always come out here to turn :-)
Meanwhile, I rather have the impression that my system is vermurxt - precisely by various players, codecs and plug-ins.
I'll test the views on other computers.
