Frage von sacred:Hello everybody,
I have the problem that I recorded a 16:9 video, this was rendered in Vegas, captured, and synonymous avi as 16:9.
So far, everything works fine. I just wanted to add a muzzleflash, and the with After Effects so I have the avi to s.importiert and previously as a composition einsgestellt as PAL DV widescreen preset.
But in the RAM preview is not displayed properly 16:9 And if I also nhciht rendere video, but .. as 4:3 or 5:4 or something
I am very grateful for any help, because this is very important to me!

The footage is interpreted correctly? Interpret the project window> Footage
Antwort von Axel:
Interpret the "footage" is undoubtedly not a minor point, so you have that is a rational, equalized desktop. In anamorphic 16:9 DV changes in reality not a pixel!
I am relieved not to come again and again as the only side with these relations confuse (denseness of the norm according to need not, to indicate dementia). If you now say you knew that already interpret with the "footage", which is then, if you mistakenly on the Render Settings "4:3" to tick and pass off?
Again not a pixel has been touched. Only the output file contains incorrect information about how the material should be presented. In the case of DV Pal could consistently be used only with 4:3 settings (which of course would make it difficult to process) as long as you choose in the DVD edition brave 16:9, is all green.

Danke erstmal, the above thread helped me but I work with Vegas with Pinnacle and if I did not project a 16:9 movie into AE and edite spend with an aspect ratio of 1:42 and then in the entire Vegas import into a new 16:9 then Vegas is all wrong is in their own Ramvoschau and look at the rendered movie with the media player or powerdvd, it is represented as a distorted 4:3 ... But I have followed everything that was said, but they have still not been 16:9 in the final film: (...

Moritz, do not despair, that we'll get it. What is the goal of your videos? A DVD-Video, or a file that is reproduced s.Computer?

Okay, no problem synonymous.
DVD-Video: Here you have the image size and the pixel aspect ratio strictly maintained in order to later create a standard-compliant DVD-video. If the film in the video editing program will not properly abgezeigt, this is first of all no big deal. It is important that s.end a 16:9 DVD is burned. Which is recognized correctly by the DVD player to s.Television presented in widescreen format.
Video file for the computer: Here is DV-AVI without interest for three reasons: Large files, interlacing, pixel aspect ratio. Ergo you must compress the exported movie done according to deinterlace and adjust the image size so that even the most stupid player software is properly the video. Choose an image size to that with square pixels is 16:9, for example, 720 × 405th
