I have read here 3 tapes and would like to take this on DVD and give the tapes to keep. How can I get this video now lossless split over several DVDs? I have Premiere CS3 and Sony Movie Studio demo ...

Hi Brendan,
depends on what with the material on DVD should be done. If it is possible for further editing in HD, only to remain the Scenes on double layer discs to burn, ie approximately 1.5 per double layer tape. 3 Tapes are 3x13GB, I think even when rendered AVCMaterial is not a fit. If only for watch on SD-TV goes out and render that's it.

If the tapes were full, 1 tape 13GByte = 3 DVD's.
Movie in Premiere to import, in 3 parts a 20 min cut, individually rausrendern.

Raw material? By HDV split generated 13GB stream into packets with Winrar á 4.7GB split, then as a data DVD burn, and s.Zielrechner together again. And already you have exactly the same raw data stream as it came from the Cam.

thank you, tip with winrar is a possibility, synonymous to hire the cut in 20-minute parts.
s.einfachsten is, of course, if the people with its ext. HD come. otherwise goes well for me s.schnellsten winrar ..
