'm new here and wish everyone a good first film in 2011. and I'm wondering the same synonymous one. Last week we completed the filming of a music video. Shot with the Canon 5D MKII. The original idea was to show the heaviness of the songs that we film the song with 120% strength to ultimately speed the footage to slow in the mail. Is this slow-motion effect that is used again and again. Actually no big deal.
Only we got the ingenious idea, so we hammer out a cleaner slow motion, all in NTSC to film with 29.97 fps and the fps then later "stretch" to 25. Simple Sally! Of course, I just can each clip in Final Cut Pro can be run with a rate of 83.41%. But I have to remember that this is a clean solution. Synonymous with the compressor I find no way the material (which in any case is converted to apple pro res HQ) to "slow down" equal synonymous, without loss of data or frames, which should not exist arise. The "frame rate with XX.XX abspeilen fps" does not bring the expected effect.
What can I do? Any ideas?

Just for understanding: Have you thought of in advance to get the backing track for Shooting's also 120% speed and the tape to give it to practice singing the faster / performer? Only THEN can be the cool slow-motion look at (how to do that?!) "Normal" Sing pace to achieve!

Of course. The tape has been in advance so that the set then in the works. on the other hand, the song is quite trendy and not be too complicated.

That I know how it works, I'm probably more than obvious documented with my question s.DICH, duh ...

It is synonymous with Compressor, but s.einfachsten you make it with "Cinema Tools" on the "Conform". Just reload clip, select new frame rate, done. Oh yes, the clip must be in a intra-frame codec for H.264 does not work.
