Frage von Broke Joystick:Hello,
I have a kind of 2D storyboards into After Effects animation. It is precisely a candle on a building stands.
Is there a possibility of the flame of the candle to animate that looks as if it were moving in the wind?
Thank you for your help
Antwort von B.DeKid:
Hi
Yes it is.
You have to the actual flame as another (extra) level.
This level is so often multiply or via Key Frames animate.
Say, for example via the Flame Transform - sometimes routes times turn times distort.

One could, of course, the whole particle effect synonymous via make, but slightly more expensive or almost with a 3D progi should be done.
Antwort von Jörg:
it might be easier but synonymous, CC particle systems and apply if one's own making and using fractal disorders Colorama, as well as a Maskeninterpolation too complicated.
Plug-ins, or even 3 d is required for this is certainly not.

Antwort von Lutz Dieckmann:
Hi,
I would just really take a candle, in black, then a Luminanzkey apply. The flame is bright enough. It's easy and fast. Then you set it to your picture on it, done. Without great software bacchanals ;-)
Many greetings
Lutz

From AE CS3, you can use the new Puppet tool. Is something like a animatable Verflüssigeneffekt Photoshop. Using the Puppet tool you can see the candle flame even in real time with the mouse and animate himself, and her move, by Anfasserpunkte you will either be moved or the graphic will help stabilize. Is really cool!
