Frage von edi_the eagle:
'm On the search for ND filter (, 4x4) for my matte box. Those things are relatively expensive. Now there at Formatt (; http://www.formatt.co.uk/default.aspx) "Stills Filter" CR39, a plastic that is synonymous used for eyeglass lenses are more favorable..
What is the lock-in contrast to the glass NDs? Has anyone had bad experiences?
Thanks for help

Still nothing?
Then let me put it differently:
Why nobody needs plastic ND filters appear to be working in photography but synonymous?
Antwort von Johannes:

So I have several 4x4 filter of the Cokin Z system, so synonymous is only for some plastic. I find them quite good, with glass or other filters I've never worked before.
Antwort von edi_the eagle:

I know that are synonymous of CR39. ND filters are synonymous among them?
