Newsmeldung von slashCAM: AFXCast - Plugin makes PC monitors for Adobe After Effects preview of usable rudi - 27 Jan 2009 13:19:00 While many have already cut programs without any problems a second Windows desktop monitor for previewing can use this in Adobe After Effects on Windows is still not directly possible. You get here no more than a framed window, which even then the preview window from the user interface is replaced and no further details. For a real-time preview in a separate window or on a second display to date was always a special, dedicated hardware interfaces (eg DeckLink) are needed.
With AFXCast 1.0 is now a good plugin for Adobe After Effects is available with a 1:1-pixel accurate live preview on any Windows-connected monitor without expensive additional hardware possible. The user is hereby as usual under After Effects work and on the second monitor at all times its current path without disturbing project-and layer information in real time can see. To try is a time-limited, free trial version at www.videox.de to download. The full version costs 19.99 Euro.
In addition, a notice behind the plugin is available as a programmer Rudi Schmidt, who as synonymous Slashcam staff operates.

In After Effects CS3 runs flawlessly. Due to the lack of aspect ratio correction, it is, at least for me, for a reasonable preview unusable.

Due to the lack of aspect ratio correction, it is, at least for me, for a reasonable preview unusable. I can already understand, but stability and speed of the preview was the first release in the foreground, especially when we are 99 percent of projects with square pixels working (either full HD output or 720p). Even if we are with HDV or DVC PRO HD work, the project settings for the output usually FullHD or 720p, because we have quality reasons not to use those mastering format.
Nevertheless, if more people should demand this feature, it definitely slips on the preference list for the next version to the top;)
Which format are you using because nichtquadratischen with pixels?
DV?

DVD player are widespread and so is my main DV 16:9 format. Among clients, there is still no "hochaulösende" demand. In one to two years will probably be different.

HDV.
Can the plugin synonymous scale if the full monitor resolution creates no?

Can the plugin synonymous scale if the full monitor resolution creates no? In this version, because here the focus on a preview pixelnativen lies. But if the interest is large enough, it is probably synonymous to a corresponding function. However, there is already miser FullHD monitors under 140 euros, and is something for the plugin actually primarily intended ...
