Or maybe there are other inexpensive options?

directly for mobile is no system known to me.
But many do not need 230V and are therefore of providing a power supply of 12v often.
For a lighting system I bought myself 3 of Batteries:

Are not really expensive and if they are not, for example in one of these Hüftgure Packt synonymous weight of disturbing.

A cost-effective solution is not known to me, however, because the converter, which will provide data and data-connected via Firewire, the devices are serious and not one of the toys (such as USB video grabber). Accordingly, the price: at least EUR 178 is for a Canopus ADVC-55.
