Where is because the difference?
Which offers the better picture quality?
Is it possible in an HD DVD player synonymous with AVCHD video playback?

The two formats have nothing to do with each other and are not synonymous as opposites specific. One is a consumer recording format, the other a playback medium, which is currently expensive Hollywood shooting and is reserved for it in Germany which is still almost no players there.

Pinnacle 11, AVCHD discs without menus just create it and have not synonymous.
