Frage von holydisc:Hello
I plan to buy a camcorder. Schwanke between one of the new AVCHD standard equipment or a PAL disk camcorder of Sony.
With AVCHD, I wonder, above all, my Core Duo 2 GHZ Calculator with 2 GB of RAM will be able to release this information to cut and play (currently using Vegas 6, AVCHD, or would apply to upgrade to 7).
The DCR-SR290 as my favorite in the normal camcorders is hardly cheaper than an HD camcorder. Is this then not rausgeworfenes Money?
Thank you for suggestions.

So, if high resolution, then more HDV equipment in mpeg2-ts record. AVCHD is significantly more computing power than HDV need - but is not yet known how the spring of Sonyfür announced Vegas7 solution will look like.
For HDV extends your 2-core device perfectly cut, with Vegas7 is synonymous now no problem.
On SD devices, I would no longer use - but there are of course opinions differ.

Thank you for your reply. Well, speaks against the HDV tape. Somehow, I would like a recording medium with direct access. Since there seems to be yes in the HD field to nothing.

However, there is. XDCAM-HD and P2-HD.

Not to forget EditcamHD. But the sarcasm is likely to clear five purchase prices of the genus XDCAM cameras and Editcam hardly be overlooked. ;-)
When I do an HDV device would have to buy, then one would be synonymous on my Wish Andockfestplatte. This should be the cheapest, editable and tapeless HD format. Nevertheless, I would always tape as a backup to run, if the hard drive spins times foolishly or someone deletes the data.
