What is the quickest, most convenient and / or high-quality way to AVCHD footage (especially of such of the Canon HF100) in DV-AVI to convert?
Specifically, I see it as freeware or software to 100 euros.

I had some time before Neo ever tested, but as an editing program. On the idea, use it as a converter, I would not come. :)

Convert in. .. " For me it says "Convert> File ...". A menu item "Convert in. .." does not exist.

Regarding Edius NEO:
According to DV-AVI can AVCHD material not convert, but after MPEG2 in PAL resolution (16:9).

I've been through all the possible variants. Edius Neo has so many possibilities with the material manner. I knew, for example, has not that man with something like Neo proxy editing can do. (When Querlesen in forums, I had the impression that this option would have less of professional editing applications currently only Ulead VideoStudio.) You can AVCHD material in offline quality cut and the clips again later new quality in online format.
Right out of the bin does the conversion to the Canopus HQ format, both synonymous with SD than in HD and in two grades (offline and online).
What I wish for SD editing s.nächsten, is the online version in SD. Unfortunately, the files will have nearly twice as large as in DV-AVI, but maybe it's in relation to the subsequent production of DVD-quality benefits of any (higher color resolution, etc.. - Am still not in the picture). Whether I HQ-AVI codec installed now thanks synonymous in other programs open and may continue to edit, I have yet to debug.
What I originally wanted, namely in AVCHD normal DV AVI to convert, it seems, unfortunately, with Neo only cumbersome on the timeline and export function to work - what a large number of clips is not practicable. I would be with Nero might come next. :)
But the purchase of Edius Neo for this price was still a good deal. How I now cut to be seen and will depend on the synonymous Project from.

Thanks for the hint! I have previously only worked with HD, so I use the DV Export Settings not found. These are yes, but only in DV profiles available.
By Scenalyzer can be re-takes from a long DV - video extract, however, without data code analysis - that is optical.

Should I decide to have the clips one after another on the timeline to pack as a whole and pieces to convert, I would have to refrain from dividing the scene - which I would prefer even secretly: I'm accustomed to the rough purely from the keyboard player-made windows. Therefore I prefer a longer piece of video in the player, so I do not constantly need to open new clips.
If, however, I have in mind, the original new material later in HD quality to convert, can I s.Zuschnitt of the individual clips to come. In this case, then a subsequent scene synonymous separation nothing, because the outcome certainly not 100% congruent with length and label of origin clips is. In that case I would rather convert the bin and with the HQ-SD format, synonymous when it needs more memory.
Will probably still take a while until I get my best work with Edius Neo think ...

Especially, I have discovered that there is a new version (3.00) of the AVCHD converter there. Since, in addition to HQ AVI synonymous MPEG2 and HDV as target formats. DV-AVI is unfortunately not there.
A format option is strange to me: "HDV 720x480/576p" - Is this really standard?
