Frage von don_pepe:Halllo,

My question is, what format AVCHD vs. Mini DV serves better for video editing, while the image quality is not leiden.Danach it to a DVD burn. Do we need then a BluRay burner?

The videos you transmit, for example via a card reader on the calculator in a folder (Ex: AVCHD \ "theme of the video").
To view the files on the PC synonymous play it is a player of distress, the HD video (with the H.264 HD codec) "digest" can be. There is currently "PowerDVD 8 Ultra" at best.
In the next step we want from our raw material to make a movie.
This requires a video editing program that is possibly a Intermediate codec uses to not have a high-end multi-core PC for several thousand euros to the need to purchase (because AVCHD natively is hardly suitable for the cut).
"Canopus Edius NEO" offers such an intermediate codec (on the homepage is he ready for download), with the cut almost as easily possible, as with DV - only that the volume of data, five times as well is high.
That brings us to another point - the data.
With up to 60GB/Stunde (Canopus HQ codec) should be a large enough hard drive to use. So far I use a 1TB USB disk (TrekStor), with the USB2 despite no problems regarding the performance.
If you only have a DVD in SD quality would create, no BluRay burner is needed. The video must be of HD only changed after SD, which is synonymous NERO 7 / 8 may - or rather "Edius NEO". For HD-DVD movies is sufficient to essentially synonymous, but should be for the DVD authoring program like Ulead Movie 6 Pros distillery "may be used.
Backup With DV, you have the advantage that the same filing with the recording made on tape.
In the purely digital and nonlinear age you have to - forced - to use other means to enable the "User Data" (no preference whether Still Image, Video, Music, Final Work & Co) are safe from data loss is.
Here, the redundant data as the only thing proven.
So You copied his data equal to two or more disks (HDD, CD / DVD, streamer) and keeps these places s.unterschiedlichen to lessen the risk as low as possible.
Optical disks are not considered safe enough, as quickly a disc no longer be fully legible.
Hard disks (preferably with a long warranty period, in which damage is visible Money) are currently the best way to backup, where always two to use, since once stored is never guaranteed!
So therefore you need (if your calculator is HD-ready) ...
... a current player ...
... appropriate editing software ...
... sufficiently fast and large data storage for video projects ...
... and finally two backup disks, so it does not Datengau to come with you. :)
The HD-rat's tail is quite expensive - but a death must be nunmal die.
