Frage von Chronos:Hello,
I hope you can help me. I am almost crazy!
Following problem:
I have videos of my vacation HD Camera (SonyHF100) in beautiful, sparking MTS files on the disk. Now I cut myself with CyberLink PowerDirector 7, a nice menu with disc and drum and all tuned together. I put all the emphasis on high quality and would like a behind Blu-ray Disc have. Everything works but the quality is in comparison to the pure MTS files directly to the camera of more than modest. Where you first clear pattern could recognize details and is now just mud left vague. It makes no difference whether I am in MPEG2 and MPEG4 AVC (which is synonymous the source material would be) encode. Also, all settings such as interlaced or progressive, I have already durchgetestet. Nothing.
Why kompriemiert the software ever since around what? I want the videos in their original quality intact and only together with cuts and music background.
Did then synonymous times tried Pinnacle Studio 12: exactly the same syndrome!
Did I make a mistake? Please help.
Antwort von RickyMartini:
Unfortunately, this software does not manufacturers extent that a work like DV would be possible. The best AVCHD edition has "Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9".
In my HF100 I go the way of the intermediate codecs (HQ codec) with "Canopus Edius NEO". The output is then in the HQ codec and HD MPEG2 35MBits / s.
With Vegas can still be an issue after AVCHD done.
Note: AVCHD was never intended for the post (although Sony Contrary to this statement, but rather to submit stuff)! The cup was s.die software developers, where the KAGG now have to pay for! ;)

With some "encoders" can be a passthrough HDV directly to Blu-ray burn. And then there's no transcoding. Some in Episode Pro.

Hmmm .... I have almost feared. But how do I get for my MTS files (gut. .. I can without losing a M2TS file) on a Blu-ray or DVD, so this of the usual stand-alone devices can be. Since then there is no way on any kind of authors or rum?
Antwort von PowerMac:
Please use the correct terminology. "Authoring" and "Encoding" have nothing to do with each other. An authoring s.der quality must not necessarily change anything.

Look again due, because the passthrough function in Telestream refers exclusively on targets, such as Quicktime, the format synonymous support.
Incidentally, the MPEG4 Quicktime Pro Export dialog synonymous the passthrough function when the format QT can not handle.
This may be synonymous to parts of the streams, such as AC3 or 5.1 if the program's format can not handle to Resolutionvon after 5.1 stereo to prevent or if I have a 3GP file to export.

But unfortunately synonymous episode can not conjure, and Blu-ray format to teach the system does not support them.

Hello,
I have but because of the interesting issue here equal times registered. And I would like to get rid of a tip.
I agree with the car "RickyMartini" with his statement: "The best AVCHD edition has" Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9 ". To.
I have Adobe Premiere Elements 4th This actually dominated house of no AVCHD. However, I own a Sony laptop with the Adobe software preinstalled Sony and of course with a plugin has been supplied. The processing is carried out even with my laptop (T8300) as if it were a normal mpeg-material (admittedly after the calculation of a proxy file). The conversion is not really noticed, as I with the videos immediately losarbeiten can. Only when you play it s.and too, that especially in small effects stolperle done.
And now for the issue: I export my videos in AVCHD and mpegII (for DVD). The videos in AVCHD of the originals are not too different (this is really not an exaggeration). Also, I noticed that when you expect a kind of "Smart Render" mitläuft. As an explanation: A film of about 7-8 minutes, cut, dubbed (commentary and sound), with effects, fonts, etc. is required between 2 and 4 hours computing power. Find me enormously, but I will by a razor-Picture compensated. If I only distinguish videos together and do I need "only" 20 to 30 minutes. This has with Smart Render synonymous not much to do, but something is going on.
To mpegII remains to say that this is not quite so sharp is like Magix or Pinnacle, but 100% working correctly. In Magix and Co. do I always Arteffekte small and almost invisible stumbling into the video is expected. Indeed, so maybe a little blur to the normal viewer will not see, because the raw material he does not know. Oh yes, the calculation takes into mpegII then as "only" between 15 and 30 minutes.
To summarize: I think synonymous that time Sonyzur the best program for a very good AVCHD quality. As for me, however s.dem program (not my Adobe Premiere Elements but Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9) stört, the limited video tracks.
The surface is used to, but with time reveals that synonymous.

Well, maybe consider an upgrade to Vegas Pro 8? Since this limitation did not, but stop what it costs.
