Hi,
Hab mir NEN new camcorder purchase, the videos as AVI files always absorbs or stores. I've always halt AVI files on the memory card. So far so good, but I can not edit these files and my editing program can net ... CyberLink PowerDirector v6 .. when I try the files zuimportieren ... he always breaks off ... please can someone help me? Can CyberLink AVI files do not record or ...
Or knows her vllt a free video editing program that can process AVI files?

AVI is a container format - it can datastreams for Picture and Sound in any format to be stored. It would be very helpful if you give us with Manufacturer and Model of your newly acquired camera would enlighten.

Are you sure with the AVI? According but does add in AVC H.264 for HDBilder or take you on in SD?
But even if it is H.264 it can be that your NLE can not do it. I know that Cyberlink does not and am not sure whether it AVCHD or H.264 ever can. Loading your times of trial versions of Sony Vegas or similar down and try something with a proper NLE :-)

MP4 H.264 format than HD 1289 * 720. CyberLink PowerDirector 6, like I do not think so. PowerDirector 7, as described MP4. Time the 30 days version and download it for free.

I would not convert the files as images and sound suffer ..

Have just skipped a few thoughts ...
Since I'm working active enough for me the 30 day trial version of Powerdirector7 unfortunately not enough and I can afford it I do not synonymous. : (
When I PowerDirector 6 should be the files I am always the first conversion, which takes time and the videos suffer ....:(
So I looked for a freeware program that works like so Powerdirector7 ...
Hope you understand what I meant ...
