Hello,
I have with my Casio Fotocam in the summer made a few videos.
Now with the copy on the computer, I noticed that half of my files can not be played.
After investigation of the properties / details of the video file I noticed that it does not contain information.
No information on bitrate, audio, format, length, size, etc. ..
Why some files contain this information and others not, is unfathomable to me, because files with almost the same size once the data is included and once not.
Are there any ways this data subsequently inserted?
Format, size, bitrate, etc. I know of the other videos.
Only with the duration of the video would be somewhat difficult, but no video is over 2.5 minutes ...
Can someone help me? Half my holiday memories are otherwise away!

the problem is certainly not that codecs are missing, but simply that the data is not stored.
Finally, other movie files of a recording 5min correctly with all previously stored data. Why, however, some files which the necessary data and others not, is incomprehensible to me!

Yes, the problem is not the codec.
I have the program still times tried, and it even tells me that the files do not have the correct format (because the information in the file are no longer there).
I really only need, programs with which I am the information of speed, frame rate, image size, add it! I'm pretty sure it does.

Oh ... and the files go, have MJEP (Motion JPEG) format as the codec. The others can not, as I said once opened. Probably because really NOTHING stands in the information. No information about admission / format / etc ...

PS: Oh yes, the "Video" cam that I used did exactly means:
Casio Exilim EX-Z60.
No. Videocam right, but for a short vacation pictures, it is, as long as they happen during the day, the focal lens and the eig s.sich are "modest".
