Frage von hansuw:Good day
Does it make a qualitative difference whether I am of my digital camera with a movie AVI on the PC and later transferred to DVD with MPEG or burn the same in order to transfer MPEG with MPEG to burn?
I have recently Pinnacle Studio 11 Pros increased.
For an answer thank you.

I want to edit in the film Scenes divide.
If the variant: AVI to MPEG then qualitatively better?

Antwort von Markus:
Hi Hans,
an important indication to answer your question would have been, of what your camcorder (recording format) the data. There are camcorder in the DV format (dubbed as a DV-AVI useful / optimal) and models that are directly compressed MPEG-record (data in the same MPEG format makes sense).
In your previous thread I have seen that you have a MiniDV camcorder has (Canon MV700i). In this case, it is advisable to first change the data in the DV-AVI format to save, and only s.Ende of video editing in the desired distribution formats (including MPEG2 for DVD) to compress. Anything else would be charged to the quality and comfort of handling.
