Frage von rundabout:Aloha,
little question as I with a camera team to have a festival and now of 3 cameras 14 hours imagery, it is a question worth.
Is it ABSOLUTELY nozwendig the large 15GB files in AVI format, or can I file all 3 days and can render s.Stück but then had a faster workflow (smaller files)?
If YES, which codec, format would offer?
We are working with Adobe Premiere CS 4 and multiple computers on the network.
Many greetings

For God's sake let it. Their only losing unnecessary time and quality and have afterwards in the processing of any benefits.

How quickly the workflow is less dependent of the size of the files from s.als codec. So if you put the AVI files, eg MPEG2 konvertierst, you may file with one third of the original size, but the editing is tough - simply because the highly compressed format to the calculator more burdened.
Not for nothing are now heavily compressed AVCHD files into big happy, slightly compressed Intermediate files converted. As you work with files containing more than five (!) As large as the original are - and everything goes faster and smoother.
