I am far from seeing me as a filmmaker, "just because I just bought a SONY EX1R. So far, small consumer cameras were announced, with whom I always synonymous prima "work" failed. I film only horse and rider to learning. Actually reaches any cheap camera for 500, - Euro - but in future I want to film a little more demanding.
My question: How and where do I get absolute basics of shooting film in a compact form? I have searched far and find books and videos that always presuppose that we already have basic skills.
I am grateful for useful tips.

I can recommend you some books from the publisher Schiele & Schön. There is a "video tapes Edition", made up for several books of Ulrich Vielmuth and Wilfried Strauss, who have allowed me as a layman, (without any prior knowledge) can provide insight into the world of movies.
"Videos like a pro" or "make video images look and" I liked it quite well. To me it was mainly a question of motives to make beautiful holiday. However, it is synonymous terms of festivals and sporting events taken.
To deepen the whole thing, I've bought a few DVDs: "Shooting like a pro" and "films perform like the professionals" (of Andreas Schulz) from the same publisher.
And finally, I can tell you with deep interest the DVD "learn to see movies - Basics of film aesthetics" (of Rüdiger Steinmetz from the publisher Zeitausendeins recommend). Really the basics of film history through (earlier) films are analyzed.
