if you definitely need to publish a 5-minute video on CD, what format to use and what codec would you order the film in poss. good quality on poss. many computers running.
currently I'll take MPEG1 with 2Mb / s, but less so am 100% satisfied.

I would make 2 versions:
-once a system for old computer with old codecs, as AVI
-And a new version of Better quality, such as QuickTime with Sorenson Pro codec

MPEG1 is usually the video format of choice when it comes to maximum compatibility with various types of machines (PC, MAC), years of construction and the operating system's version.
currently I'll take MPEG1 with 2Mb / s, but less so am 100% satisfied. 2 megabits before we get very little, but of course that is only a first feeling. It depends so synonymous of the other parameters (frame size, frame rate) image content. - What if you are lifting, the data rate?
Or you meant no s.end the Picture-/Tonqualität, but something else?
