Hello Friends Video
Have for years with Adobe Premiere 6.0 and Dv 500DVD of Pnnnacle worked satisfactorily.
According to a PC - Modernization DV500 is no longer to install.
Who has experience with the card you cut s.besten Premiere 6.0 could combine or VTL. upgrade to Premiere Pro is required.

Since version 6 requires no special premiere video hardware more. Firewire connection is sufficient.
I use Premiere 6.0 is absolutely no problem with the Firewire socket my motherboard. In the last calculator I had a separate Firewire card, with which it went well. (Such a ticket costs <$ 15.)
If the DV500 plug-ins or additional functions with real-time brings, the course in the "pure" premiere is not available. You must try it yourself, if you without the Pinnacle stuff something missing.
The update to Premiere Pro brings a lot of improvements, but synonymous small disadvantages (no A / B-track processing more). All this is completely independent of the DV500, the last version of Premiere, which still supports of the DV500 is 6.0. So if you get upgrades to Premiere Pro, the DV500 in any case fell.
Maybe you'll get so far but the new constellation on your calculator is still up and running. At least Windows XP is the latest of DV500 drivers still supported. I really do not see why it should not be running. Have you tried the latest drivers (v. 4.5 from January, 2003)?

If it does not work I just need to refrain from Pinnacle Schnick Schnack. Be it through a better calculator functions largely compensated.

I was in any case not yet willing to able to EUR 280 for an upgrade to PP to invest. The result can be seen not to, with which version it was cut. Lossless is lossless.

My concern is if I have the premiere without cutting Map of Pinnacle DV500DVD still use it.
I need as a device for controlling the camcorder. Pluins such as real-time shields oskann I will probably no longer use because of these directly into the Pinnacle Premiere menu integrated.
PS: As I just know it is Adobe Premiere 6.0 synonymous only with a simple Firewire port operate.
