Infoseite // Adobe Bridge CS3 is corrosive slow! - Who knows remedy?

Frage von Debonnaire:

I am running Adobe Bridge CS3 on my Windows XP Home SP3 Calculator with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6 GHz processor with 4GB (3.2 Recognized GB) of RAM.

If I am in Adobe Bridge CS3 to a folder with photos (JPGs and PSDs) new keywords at the same time, see eg 500 selected files will fit, it takes x minutes!

Weiss someone if you can speed up the bridge, or why the simple adding of metadata so incredibly long?

When adding s.PSD files (Adobe Photoshop) lasted much longer than if I add the same metadata s.JPGs. Hmmm ...

Antwort von B.DeKid:

As a result of the write MetaDatein not with the change a file to compare, you can and will be depending on the file format at various times lead.

I use Bridge synonymous and can not really grumble about the time you need to change to meta data.

I do in the meantime mostly what else - like here to write ;-)

PS.
Virtual memory on multiple partitions to distribute, could possibly help. This would then be but a kind of benchmark with run to improve to measure.

Metadata synonymous Have you ever been to a number of PSD files and it still has somewhat geflutscht?

I think quite a Bridge eh Lahm ass (the Startup takes much longer than when I run Photoshop), in almost every respect. And it runs very stable not synonymous ...

Antwort von B.DeKid:

Bridge is actually quite cool.

If you have the bottom right of the slider, press to view the file shown to reduce the build goes much faster.

In relation to many photos, it is a good tool which I now no longer want to miss.
(When I covered some 1000 + images per month)

..............

Meta files must I only partly related to HDR images can write, but since I am a comfortable person I am still can not complain what the duration is concerned.

For all those with Bridge and Meta files nix can begin.
