I have two Probs.
1) When I created the menu and have everything and then wants to spend on DVD, hangs at the encore transcode always stressed on after four or there is no progress inspection.
and
2) If I use a larger video file, which contains several hundred MB wants to import, then Encore hangs after about three-fourths of the trail as well.
I have only one reference of Avid Quicktime can import, which however failed s.erstgenannten problem.
What am I doing wrong?

I export the movie from my editing program is always the same as the Encore MPG2 so it does not need transcode again. The experimental times. Then you can use to better assess synonymous equal how much you spend on the DVD.

In some other contributors have explicitly mentioned that the trans-coding (compression) in Encore to be much better.
That was why I usder-as synonymous of the original poster quasi uncompressed the file as a DV-AVI (= 13GB!) Imported into Encore and had the of Encore2 it wants. Now I have to push the same problem. With me is after 6 strokes conclusion - rather, the AVI is fully transcoded seems, however, the process is not the end, abort, it is no longer synonymous, which is annoying :-( (
Has someone a tip, what's wrong? Please not the recommendation, the MPEG compression of Premiere from making it. We had everything in advance.

Can it be that the file is too long for Premiere gibts da zb. a limit of 3 hours

the file is only 59min long and accordingly 13GB (DV-AVI) in size.
